What is the Physical Education Grant / Sport Premium?

The government are spending on improving physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools over 3 academic years. Schools can choose how they use the funding. Promoting and encouraging children to have a healthy lifestyle and being active in sports is very important to us at Water Orton Primary school. We hire qualified sports coaches to teach lessons, provide a wide range of active after-school clubs and participate in sports activities with other schools.

We are proud to participate in many competitions, often with great success. Afterschool clubs provided at school have included; Cricket, Gymnastics, Football, Cross Country, Dogeball and Netball.
